Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights
Compensation: $2,396 Weekly Gross
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling high-acuity obstetric cases and be confident in providing safe, evidence-based care throughout all stages of the birthing process.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages.
Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly and effectively.
Float to other units or sister facilities as needed (travelers float first).
Participate in on-call rotation — 12 hours per 6-week scheduling period.
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient tracking.
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience – Required.
Previous travel nursing experience – Required.
Must be able to manage high-acuity obstetric patients .
Completion and passing of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – Required.
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring and EFM certification – Preferred.
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
NRP – Required
