Job Description

Scope:
The Night Auditor ensures the accurate reconciliation and balancing of all hotel income and expenses during the 24-hour operating period.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately audit and reconcile room revenue, food and beverage sales, and telephone charges.

• Verify and balance room and tax charges, cashier reports, and guest/house accounts for accuracy.

• Prepare and distribute daily management and accounting reports, including customer tracking, market segmentation, and food and beverage revenue reports.

• Coordinate with other hotel departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and share relevant financial information.

• Perform Guest Service Representative duties as needed, including booking reservations, handling incoming calls, and delivering guest messages.

• Maintain security of department keys and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring follow-up and guest satisfaction.

• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s standards of conduct and dress.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; may serve as Manager on Duty during designated shifts.
