Job Description

We are an injection molding manufacturer located in Lake Forest, IL, seeking full-time Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers for 2nd and 3rd shifts to join our team. We are currently hiring for second and third shifts. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, paid vacation, paid breaks, and paid holidays.

Note: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime on weekends. Most weekends require mandatory with weekend days flexibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Forklift in a safe manner according to protocol.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Make sure that resin is continuously and properly supplied to the machines.
• Wrap palleted products and place them in the appropriate location.
• Transport items to their designated locations based on a production schedule.
• Document orders, materials, and any stock movements.
• Unload incoming vehicles putting stock in assigned locations if necessary.
• Load outgoing vehicles and ensure materials are secure when needed.
• Maintain equipment by performing all necessary tasks to ensure proper functionality of the vehicle.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Loading and unloading trailers experience
• Good verbal, written, and basic math skills
• Manufacturing/ Warehouse experience is preferred
• Able to work independently
• Good height and depth perception.
• Ability to lift heavy objects about 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in uncomfortable temperatures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good alertness to ensure the safety of the workspace.

Experience:

• Warehouse/ Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
• Material Handling: 2 years (Required)
• Sit-Down forklift operating: 2 years (Required)

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM ($18.00/hour)
• 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM ($18.50/hour)
• 3rd Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM ($19.00/hour)

Note: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime on weekends. Most weekends require mandatory overtime.
